Introduced in 1958 by Poul Kjaerholm, the PK31 series -armchair, a 2-seater loveseat sofa and a 3-seater sofa- is one of the most comfortable iconic mid-century pieces. If you look at mid-century modern living rooms, you will probably see one of those as it combines elegant luxury with comfort.
An iconic piece
The PK31 is built around the concept of modular units. The only difference between the lounge chair, the 2-seater and 3-seater sofa is the introduction of an additional module. That means we could make a 4-seater, 5-seater etc. if you need a wider one. It is completely upholstered in leather and the luxurious down-filled cushions are finished with pocketed tailoring that keep the soft padding in shape. The frame is made of #304 stainless steel and the base features protective, anti-slide rubber floor caps. You can mix 2 lounge chairs with one 2-seater or 3-seater sofa to keep symmetry in your living room or you can have the lounge chair only, which is already a stand-alone masterpiece.
