Harry Bertoia

Harry Bertoia was among mid-century America’s most influential and beloved designers, creating a use of materials along with a trademark minimalist panache that will become his signature. After emigrating towards the US from his native Italy 1930, Bertoia started to experiment with using moulded lattice work and welded steel to produce his seminal Wire Chair, that they would look at adapt into numerous other designs. To this day, the Wire Chair and every one of its variants still bring a little classic twentieth century modernism to the setting they sit in, whether it's a styling metropolitan bar or perhaps a relaxing informal dining area.
