The website http://www.gfurn.com (the ‘website’) is owned and operated by Gfurn inc. (referred as ‘Gfurn’, ‘we’, ‘our’, ‘us’ or the ‘Company’). Gfurn provides services to you subject to the following Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions apply to :
- any use of the website
- the sale of products through the website and the delivery of these products
For each of these activities, these Terms and Conditions shall be the only applicable conditions excluding any other, unless explicitly agreed otherwise between the parties. Users of the website are deemed to read, understand and agree to the applicable Terms and Conditions. Gfurn reserves the right to amend and change these Terms and Conditions. The amended Terms and Conditions will be immediately applicable when they are uploaded on the website, and apply to any orders placed subsequently. In any case, orders can only be placed after the customer has explicitly accepted the applicable Terms and Conditions.
PLACING AN ORDER
The products offered for sale are described in the catalogue published on the website. The catalogue gives an accurate representation of the products using images as well as a description of the product characteristics.
As our furniture pieces are handcrafted, you can customize your furniture by choosing the fabrics, leathers and veneers you love. Gfurn will not be held liable for any variation that may arise in comparison to images shown on our website and the actual product. All images displayed are of actual product sold and all attempts are made to display a true likeness of products. You acknowledge and agree that all images and descriptions on our website and associated materials are approximates only and Gfurn accepts no responsibility whatsoever for any deviations in dimensions, weights, quantities, colors or specifications or the like in relation to the products that have been delivered to you.
To order a product, the customer must complete the order procedure on the website. Once you have placed an order, we will send you an email confirming the order. This email also contains a summary of the order.
Our order acknowledgement is not a contract and does not constitute an acceptance of your order, but only a record of your offer to purchase a particular product at a particular price. After you place an order, Gfurn will determine whether or not to fulfill the order and Gfurn may refuse or limit your order for any reason. By placing your order, you agree to accept all Terms and Conditions set forth anywhere on this website. Gfurn reserves the right to accept, refuse, or limit your order for any reason, including, but not limited to, credit review, the unavailability of a product or errors in the prices and product descriptions posted on this website. By placing your order, you agree that Gfurn’s total liability, under any legal theory or claim, shall be limited to the purchase price actually paid to Gfurn for the product giving rise to Gfurn’s liability.
Gfurn is an online business and will primarily communicate with customers via email. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the correct contact details are entered and that the nominated email address is regularly checked for correspondence.
GFURN MID-CENTURY REPRODUCTIONS
Some of our products are high quality reproductions of classic furniture. They cannot and should not be called originals. Gfurn does not affiliate itself with any other company or designer. Wholesalers, retailers, and anyone reselling Gfurn’s pieces must only describe, advertise, and sell our items as quality reproductions inspired by the style but not exact replications of the original designs. The names Charles & Ray Eames, Eero Aarnio, Isamu Noguchi, Mies Van Der Rohe, Le Corbusier, Eileen Gray, Verner Panton, Harry Bertoia, George Nelson, Marcel Breuer, Shin & Tomoko Azumi, Joseph Hoffman, Arne Jacobsen, Eero Saarinen, Hans J Wegner, Poul Kjaerholm, Poul Volther, Finn Juhl are only used to describe the characteristics of the goods made to their designs, and not as trademarks. Gfurn does not own the trademarks to any original designs.
All prices listed on our website are in Canadian Dollars ($CAD). Prices displayed do not include taxes. Sales taxes must be added to all sales in Canada. Customers from Québec pay GST and QST. Customers from Ontario, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland pay HST. Customers from British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, PEI, Nunavut, Northwest Territories and the Yukon pay GST. Depending on the total amount of the order and the delivery address, delivery charges may not be included. For more information on delivery charges, please read below our section Delivery and our page dedicated to Delivery. The total price, including sales tax and delivery, will be displayed and confirmed upon checkout before the order is confirmed. Payment of the total price must be made in full before order is processed.
FOREIGN TAXES AND IMPORT DUTIES
Products are shipped from our warehouses located in Canada. Foreign orders may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches its destination country. You must check with your local authorities to find out what charges are applicable. Gfurn does not charge or collect duties/taxes for goods shipped to international destinations. These taxes are paid by the customer upon arrival of the items to their destination country.

Our "Invite your friends" offer is only valid if your friend spends a minimum of $100.
Gfurn will ship producs to any address in Canada and continental United States. Shipment to a P.O. Box, however, will be refused.
Custom-made furniture – Delivery time
Your ordered product will be custom-made according to your personal preferences, which makes the delivery vary between 9 to 13 weeks. This time is an estimate and is not contractual. Please read our page Delivery for more information.
All our pricing includes FREE shipping on orders above $1000 (before taxes) within Canada and continental United States.
Delivery charges are added to the cost of the product if the total order (before taxes) is less than $1000. We charge a flat $29 delivery fee for orders below $1000 (before taxes), whatever the delivery address in Canada except for Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut, where you will need to contact us for a quote, and a flat $49 delivery fee for clients in continental United States.
We pay a premium to leading furniture delivery companies to ensure the best service possible. All shipping costs are inclusive of insurance.
If you are ordering from outside North America, please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will quote you our best rates for shipping.
We believe your purchase deserves a special degree of handling and care. We use leading furniture delivery companies to handle our orders including VA Transport, Midland Courier or Western Logistics, each one selected depending on the final destination, weight and size of the products. We use specialized furniture delivery companies because we do not want your bulky or fragile product to be delivered in front of your door without any other services, neither you to stay all the day at home waiting for your delivery. We prefer paying more (at our own expense) and offering the best service possible as these companies generally take extra care throughout the entire process. We may use FedEx Ground but only for very lightweight items.
Process of delivery
The carrier will call you to schedule a time for the delivery, either in the morning or in the afternoon, but not at an exact time. Gfurn is not responsible for the delivery times of products. Once products have been dispatched, it is the customer's responsibility to liaise with Gfurn’s nominated carrier company in relation to date of delivery and to make themselves available to take delivery during the time slot appropriated. If, for any reason, our shipping partner cannot reach you at the agreed time of delivery, you will need to re-arrange the delivery. We are not responsible for any additional delivery costs incurred. Upon delivery, you will be asked to sign a delivery form, in which you confirm that the product was delivered in the correct condition (without obvious defects or damage).
It is your responsibility to inspect all items at the time of delivery, and any claims should be made within 24 hours.
Our policy is to keep you informed. When your order is dispatched, we will contact you by email with the relevant tracking information so you can keep a close eye on your delivery. You will also receive a call from one of our professional furniture carriers to confirm a suitable time for delivery.
Change of address
If you wish to change the address or any other delivery details before the indicated delivery date, you must send an email to email@example.com to notify Gfurn of this at least 48 hours prior to delivery. In this notification, you must mention the order number and the relevant product. Gfurn will confirm the change by phone or email, or refuse if the change is not in accordance with our Terms and Conditions or if there is another legitimate reason to refuse the change.
Gfurn nor the transporter can be held responsible if the delivery cannot take place as a result of the incorrect address or other delivery information provided by the customer. Gfurn is not responsible for delays due to strikes, legal lockouts, or other discomforts caused by its suppliers. In the case of these inconveniences and other events of force majeure, the delivery period shall be extended in accordance with the duration of the disturbance. To the extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any losses, liabilities, costs, damages, charges or expenses arising out of late delivery.
We recommend that you check the dimensions of access points to your home before ordering large items of furniture. You are responsible for determining that merchandise will fit through doorways, staircases, corridors and lifts. Dimensions for our products are listed with the product description.
Gfurn guarantees the quality and perfection of its products. For this reason, each product is subjected to rigorous quality controls. This can lead to delays in delivery due to the fact that Gfurn manufactures its products to the individual needs of each client. If a product does not meet the strict quality control, we re-manufacture this product at our own expense.
TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP
Title and risk in the products pass to the customer on signing for delivery of the products.
All our products are customized to your personal specifications. You may cancel your order with us up to the end of the seventh (7) day from the date your order was placed. After seven days, your order will be put into production at our factory. Once the order has gone into production, it cannot be cancelled. To cancel your order you must notify us in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org quoting your name and order reference number. We will refund you once the transaction cancelled.
At Gfurn, quality is our priority, and as part of our customer service commitment we offer an unconditional return policy. All our products can be returned during the 7-day period that follows the delivery. You may return your products for any reason. Please keep in mind the following terms:
7-Day Money Back Guarantee
Our aim is that you are satisfied with everything you purchase from our online store. In the circumstance where you are not satisfied with the quality or condition of our products, you may return the item(s) within seven (7) days for a full refund of the purchase price less shipping cost from and to Gfurn – no questions asked. Any free shipping applied to your original order may be deducted from your refund. For example, if we offered free shipping on your order, we will refund you for the purchase price of the returned items, but we will deduct our actual shipping costs. The 7-day money back guarantee period will begin from the date that the customer receives its product. If there is no receipt of delivery, the date shall be assumed to be three business days from the date of dispatch. Item must not be damaged and in original condition and must be returned in original packaging, in an unmarked and unused condition, unassembled and complete with any accessories.
If returned products are not in their full original condition and packaging, including all original wrappings, a restocking fee of 15% will be charged and taken off the total refund.
Please note that all shipping charges are non-refundable. Therefore, the following fees and charges will not be reimbursed:
- Delivery charges from Gfurn
- Delivery charges to return the product to Gfurn
It is your responsibility to ensure that returned items are returned safely. Gfurn can be of assistance with the best carriers to use. Gfurn will not take any responsibility for lost or damaged goods in transit back to us. If any such goods are received damaged, a credit/refund will not be issued. The customer must comply with directions from Gfurn staff to facilitate a return. Upon receipt of the products, your merchandise will be inspected and the refund will be issued within thirty (30) business days.
Refunds are typically issued through the same transaction method you used in the original purchase. Should you wish to be refunded through a different method, please call our customer service center at 1-855-55G-FURN (1-855-554-3876)
All returns require an RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization) issued by Gfurn. The warehouse will refuse any returns without this authorization.
To return a purchase, please simply follow these instructions below :
Send us an email to email@example.com or call us within the 7-day period after delivery to request a Return Authorization Form.
Prior to returning the item, this form must be filled out and emailed back to firstname.lastname@example.org or faxed for approval. Add a picture of the packaged product you want to return.
Please attach the Return Form to each box being returned. Original receipt is needed for any returns. The address will be provided upon advice of the refund/return request.
SALE items are considered a FINAL sale and can not be returned for refund.
We are sorry but commercial purchases are not covered by the right to return.
Other than in accordance with Gfurn’s 7-Day Money Back Guarantee, Gfurn does not provide refunds.
Damaged or faulty returns
We take great care to make sure your items are shipped safely. Each order is insured in the unlikely event that damage occurs during the shipping process. While cases are rare, damages do happen once in a while. All items must be opened and checked by the customer at time of delivery before the delivery person leaves, otherwise we cannot be liable for damage incurred during transit. If a customer is to receive a damaged or faulty item, they must notify Gfurn upon receipt of the goods and follow the correct returns policy as stipulated above.
If there is any damage or if any product is defective, you must tell the driver you reject the delivery due to damage during shipping and note it on the receipt with ‘Damaged Upon Arrival’. In order to process your claim, please send us up to three (3) pictures including one of the box that the item shipped in, to email@example.com. All damage not noted with the driver present can not be claimed. Make sure to keep all of the original packing material. After delivery is refused, our customer service staff will file a claim and work with you in a timely manner to arrange a replacement or refund at no extra cost to you. If the product is accepted and damaged, you will be responsible for filing a claim with the proper carrier.
Gfurn must issue a return authorization prior to customers returning goods. Unauthorised returns will not be accepted.
Any damaged or faulty claims after seven (7) days of delivery will not be accepted as a refund and will be treated as a warranty claim. In this case, it will be the responsibility of the customer to pay for all return costs. Returned items must be in their original packaging and condition, with all accessories and not be used or altered in any way. They must be unmarked and unassembled in any way.
Gfurn is committed to the excellence of its products and provides superior customer service, that’s why all Gfurn products are backed by a twelve (12) months comprehensive warranty.
A very responsive after sales department is available to help you with any queries after your purchase. Most issues are resolved within 72 business hours. Gfurn's liability under this warranty is to repair or replace (at its discretion) any part or product covered by this (or any implied) warranty free of charge.
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage arising from abnormal use, abuse or negligence
- Products which have not been maintained, or which have been modified
- Any indirect or consequential loss
This warranty applies only to the original purchase. Proof of purchase is required. To the extent committed by law, all other warranties, express or implied, are excluded. All goods subject to warranties must be returned to us in original packaging for inspection and assessment at your cost. The warranty is valid in Canada only, and is non-transferrable. We do not offer warranty services on items shipped internationally.
Warranty does not apply to commercial usage or shall be void should the original purchase change ownership.

Coupon codes you get from our newsletter or other promotions cannot be combined with other discounts and sale items. Coupon codes that you have received through gift cards or as compensation, cannot be used in conjunction with our normal discount percentages. Once you have written your coupon code in the box, your discount will be deducted from the final amount while the general rate discount - described at the top of this page - will be automatically deducted without you having to do anything. It is not possible to use two coupon codes in the same order. If you have two coupon codes, you must therefore choose which one you want to use. Coupon code offers are only available with orders placed on gfurn.com and are not valid with orders associated with other marketplaces, shopping engines or auction sites.
SAFEGUARDING PERSONAL INFORMATION
CREDIT CARD FRAUD, PROTECTION AND PREVENTION
When you place an order on Gfurn, by either a credit card or PayPal, you may be sent an email from our Fraud Team requesting further information to confirm the identity of the card holder, such as a copy of your credit card and drivers license. This is to ensure a safe and reliable shopping experience and to protect you against fraud.
When Gfurn requests further information to confirm the identity of the cardholder, your order will be placed in pending status and will remain pending until your order has passed our Fraud Team's internal checks. If you do not provide the required information, your order will be cancelled and your payment will be refunded back to the original payment method. These information requests are sent to help protect credit card and paypal account holders from online fraud. Gfurn may take further action against customers identified to be making fraudulent transactions.
We are pleased to offer small sample swatches of the leathers and fabrics (stock permitting) for $2 each. Shipping will be free. Samples typically arrive within 4-5 days for canadian customers. Arrival time is 7-8 days for american customers, 10-12 days for international customers. You can order swatches on our section Samples. Customs delays on orders outside Canada are not common but do occur and are beyond Gfurn control.
Your selected furniture is a unique individual. Leather and Fabrics are natural upholstery options and unique variance in shade, texture, colour or grain is to be expected. A natural occurrence in leather is the appearance of creases; this is not a manufacturing defect. Wood grains and color tones are also subject to variation and naturally change appearance with age. Stone finishes such as marble and granite will differ in color and veining. During the manufacturing process, slight blemishes can occur in steel products; this is not a manufacturing defect. As a result, we cannot guarantee that the finish of the ordered wood, leather, or stone will be exactly as pictured. These naturally occurring characteristics are not viewed as damages or defects.
Gfurn uses only the finest Italy leather in finishing of our furniture. In order to keep our collection affordable, your piece may also include "leather-match" material such as vinyl in areas of the piece that are not for seating such as the back and sides of some the items. This does not take away from the appearance or durability of the piece. However, if you require "Full Leather" for your furniture, please contact us to discuss the upcharge for full leather.
Unless otherwise mentioned, Gfurn furniture does not come pre-assembled. All our products include simple step-by-step instructions on how to assemble.
The design of the website and all its graphic elements (text, images, logos and other materials) are owned by Gfurn or its commercial partners. It is not permitted to use, copy or imitate these without Gfurn’s explicit prior authorization. If you believe that the images or products on this website infringe your or a third party’s rights, please immediately inform Gfurn so we can assess the alleged infringement and remove the relevant images or products if required. Gfurn cannot be held responsible for any infringement by its commercial partners or by the users of the website.
RESALE, DISTRIBUTION AND CUSTOMS LIMITATIONS
The sale, supply and distribution of goods are located in Canada. You should be aware that in some countries the offer and resale of the goods, which have been legally purchased in Canada, is not permissible under the local national law in force.

Any controversy, claim or dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions, your use of the Gfurn website or the relationship which results from these Terms and Conditions, including without limitation, the performance, breach, enforcement, existence or validity of the matters provided for in these Terms and Conditions which cannot be amicably resolved, even if only one of the parties declares that there is a difference (collectively, a "Claim"), will be referred to and finally settled (to the exclusion of the courts) by private and confidential binding arbitration before a single arbitrator held in Montreal, Quebec in English or French and governed by Quebec law pursuant to the Arbitration Act, 1986 (Quebec), as amended, replaced or re-enacted from time to time.
