About area rugs in modern dining rooms

All sorts of dining rooms can benefit area rugs underneath the table and chairs. Under the table and chairs is the key to success with rug-placement in the dining. Be sure the size of the rug allows for plenty of room for dining chairs to be pulled out and still be resting on the rug. Also, rugs for the dining room should be chosen with care (the fiber from which a rug is made should allow for easy clean up) because accidental spills will happen.

The main thing to remember here is that in choosing the color and pattern of each rug, you should consider how each floor covering will fit into the overall look of the space. The goal should be to create a cohesive, complementary design aesthetic.
